Design Inspiration

Design Inspiration is a site that was created by a group of designers for the purpose of making “every designer's life easier” by featuring “the best logos, illustrations, websites, photos and patterns from the most talented designers around the world.” I can’t say that I love all of the designs on this site (frankly, I think that some of the logos are mediocre at best), but there are some gems in there.

Sean P. LyndeParticularly, the logo for Ogden Plumbing (below), created by Matt Everson, is a brilliant design that showcases a wonderful application of negative space. Plumbing has never been so elegant.

Make the logo BIGGER

Sean Patrick Lynde
This will most likely be funny only to designers, or maybe to people who have an interest in logo design (even if they don't create them). Or, maybe it will be funny to those who understand psychology and the perception of something feeling better to someone if it is bigger.
